Locally he is known primarily for his pioneering Jungle/Drum & Bass sets full of slam-mixing, cutting and beat juggling but Dj Craze made his name, showcasing intricate scratch routines for DMC competitions to win year after year.
As a trend towards electro and harder styles of dance music picked up steam in the mid 00′s, Craze evolved with it, producing and deejaying Electro and House music and what most would call simply, Bass Music. As Craze described it himself thru vocoded robot voice in a mix-tape in 2007 “…to me it’s all the same shit, street music.”
Mike 2600 and the Anthem Heart Djs will heat up the newly revamped sound system for Craze while the Varsity Theater is transformed by Playatta, known for their interactive “digital video playgrounds”.
